Exalted Ruler of the Oswego Elks Lodge #271 Nelson Metz presents SAF Advocate / Trainer Sara Carmichael (center) and Community Response Coordinator Stacie France of Oswego County Opportunities Services to Aid Families program with a donation in support SAF’s efforts to help victims of domestic abuse and educate community members of the issue.

Oswego Elks Aids OCO SAF Program

Oswego Elks Lodge #271 recently presented a donation of $1,700 to Oswego County Opportunities in support of the agency’s Services to Aid Families Program. SAF, Oswego County’s domestic violence and rape crisis program, provided support and advocacy for 600 victims and survivors in 2017.

Reality Check Youth Rally for #SeenEnoughTobacco

The rally allowed the teens to educate the community about what they say is deceitful marketing by the tobacco industry. The interactive visual displays allowed teens to show the appeal to youth to become replacement smokers by the Tobacco Industry.
